Pozzolano: a digital showroom for architectural concrete panels

Pozzolano brought real European concrete panels to Canada. We built Pozzolano.com as a showroom where the surface of the material does the selling - and every visit is designed to end with a sample request.

01

Make architects believe it before they touch it

Pozzolano website on a laptop next to concrete panel samples

Architects and designers in Canada rarely see genuine European concrete in panel form - and even fewer believe it can be ordered in Ontario and delivered in two to three days.

The website had to remove that doubt on the first screen: the material is real, the stock is local, delivery is predictable. Texture samples, a clear grid of interior applications and a separate section for trade partners each answer a silent professional question and lead to a consultation request.

  • Prove the material is real
  • Show local stock and fast delivery
  • Serve homeowners and the trade
  • Turn interest into sample requests
02

Textures first, then the path to an order

We started with the range of finishes and the way people actually order - from first contact to holding a physical sample. The challenge was to show depth of choice without an overloaded catalogue and to answer the biggest objection up front: is this really concrete?

Depth of the range

We reviewed all five finishes, from a silky polish to a rough, hand-chiselled texture.

One target action

Every texture page leads to the same goal: requesting a sample.

Two kinds of client

Separate paths for private homeowners and trade partners, served by one page.

Proof, not tile

European production, an Ontario warehouse and shipping in 2-3 days, stated plainly.

03 · User journey

04 · Visual system

The visual language of real concrete

Three principles guided every screen: quiet, weight and texture. No decorative tricks - only what makes the material convincing in a real interior.

  1. 01

    Restraint as the main language

No unnecessary icons or animation. A quiet interface works for the material the way a blank wall works for light.

  2. 02

    Colour taken from the panel

Anthracite, sand beige, graphite and matte brass are lifted straight from real panel surfaces.

  3. 03

Type that feels like a panel

Serif headings and wide capitals carry the same strength as the material on the wall.

  4. 04

    Natural light in every photo

Interiors are shot in daylight, so shadows fall across the texture as they would in real life.

  5. 05

    Space between blocks

Generous whitespace is deliberate - concrete needs room to breathe.

  6. 06

    Screens like a monograph

Each screen is laid out like a spread in an architecture book: big photo, short text, a thin line.

05

A showroom built for the architecture market

Every block covers a specific step in choosing a premium wall material, taking an architect from first impression to a sample request.

Weight from the first screen

A cinematic shot of a real concrete wall signals the brand's level before any words.

Anthracite that raises the value

On a dark background the material looks heavier and more premium - on purpose.

Looks right on site

Designers open the site on a tablet at the project, and it looks as good as on a desktop.

07 · Result

Selling concrete without a physical showroom

We turned a technical product into a visual story: arrive, feel the material, request a sample. The site separates architect and homeowner traffic, holds a premium tone and brings in sample requests.

For the brand

A premium supplier image, a steady flow of requests and a confident position in the Canadian architecture market.

For visitors

No catalogue renders - real walls, clear textures and a simple sample request at the right moment.
